James Haywood

James Haywood is a Volunteer Broadcaster for 4MBS. He has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political science

from the University of Queensland and has completed

courses with the Australian Radio School in Adelaide.

Since 2020 he has been broadcasting Daybreak Classics

from 6am – 9am every Sunday Fortnight on 103.7 4MBS

Classic FM. As well as broadcasting, James has also been writing program notes for Brisbane’s local classical music ensembles. As well as writing notes for Alex Rainieri, James has also written notes for Opus Five, The Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra, The Brisbane Baroque Players, and Musica Viva. With these notes, James not only seeks to support the local arts community but also to further his goal of becoming an ABC Broadcaster.
